Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who is born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian, English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. The choreographed show she performed at age 11, which appeared on German television, turned her into an Russian dancer who was a snow maiden. When she graduated of New York's top high school, she earned her bachelor's in English degree from St. John's University. She studied improvisation and comedy in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was born to the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father in Kabul in Afghanistan. The family moved into East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she turned 13 and stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. Her most well-known role is the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress has a regular part in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
