Ashanti Shequoiya, also known as Ashanti was born on 13 October 1981 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a musician, singer and actress from her native United States. Ashanti was discovered as an teen and became signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. In the same year, she made an appearance on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? Ja Rule's single, Always On Time as well as Fat Joe's What's Luv? Her songs Foolish (number one) and the track What's Luv! at number two. We will be celebrating with you the day of her birthday. Her self-titled album first released in 2002 on Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. record label. The Declaration is her fourth studio album, was released in June 2008 Hey Baby, After the Club (released on radio and digital formats) came out October 16 in 2008. She also starred in the films Christmas in the City, Army Wives and Latasha Monteclair. Aitch, an British artist, took a sample of her song Rock wit U for Baby on the 10th of March in 2022.
